Your privacy
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information KeerDan LLC ("KeerDan", "we", "us") collects when you use this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We sell aftermarket heavy-duty truck and auto parts to customers in the United States, and we only collect the information we need to take your order, ship it, and support you afterward.
Information we collect
We collect the following information, and nothing we do not need:
- Account details. When you register, we store your name and email address. To confirm your email we send a one-time 6-digit verification code, which expires shortly after it is issued.
- Sign-in with Google (optional). If you choose to sign in with Google, Google shares your basic profile with us — your name, email address and profile picture — so we can create or match your account. You can always register with an email and password instead.
- Order and shipping information. When you place an order we collect your shipping and billing address, contact phone number and email, and the details of the parts you buy.
- Payment information. Your card number and payment details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout and go directly to Stripe. They never reach or pass through KeerDan's servers. We only receive a confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with the order it relates to.
- Support messages. If you contact our support team through your account, we keep the messages so we can help you and follow up.
- Usage and device data. Like most websites, we automatically receive your IP address, browser type and pages viewed, primarily through analytics cookies (see below).
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- process and fulfil your orders, and calculate live shipping rates and deliver your parts;
- verify your email address and keep your account secure;
- send you transactional email — order confirmations, PDF invoices and shipping or tracking updates;
- answer your support requests;
- understand how the site is used so we can improve it (analytics); and
- meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations, and prevent fraud or abuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who we share information with
We share information only with the service providers that make the store work, and only to the extent each one needs:
- Stripe — our payment processor. Your card details are collected by Stripe directly on their hosted checkout; we never see or store them. Stripe is a PCI DSS Level 1 provider. See Stripe's own privacy policy for how it handles your data.
- USPS — the United States Postal Service. We send your shipping address and package details to USPS to calculate live shipping rates at checkout and to deliver your order.
- Google — for optional Google sign-in (Google OAuth) and for Google Analytics, which helps us understand site traffic. Google Analytics sets cookies and receives usage data about your visit.
- Email delivery. We send transactional email (confirmations and invoices) over Gmail's secure SMTP service, which handles the message on our behalf.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies for two purposes. Essential cookies keep you signed in, remember your cart and your chosen language, and protect forms against cross-site request forgery — the site cannot function without them. Analytics cookies are set by Google Analytics (gtag) and let us count visits and see which pages are used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; if you block essential cookies, parts of the site such as checkout may stop working.
How long we keep your data
We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. Order records — including invoices and shipping details — are kept for as long as needed to fulfil the order and to meet our tax, accounting and legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous. If you delete your account, we remove your profile; some order and invoice records may be retained where the law requires.
Your rights and choices
You are in control of your personal information:
- Access and correction. You can view and edit your name, email and password at any time on your account settings page, and manage your saved shipping address under shipping address.
- Deletion. You can delete your account directly from the account settings page. You may also ask us to delete your personal information by contacting us.
- Questions and complaints. If you have a privacy question or want to exercise a right, contact us using the details below and we will respond.
Children's privacy
This website is a store for vehicle parts and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, when we add a service or the law changes. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be made clear on the site.
